Good News Update!!!
/We wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers over the last week, for Hazel's friend, Grace. We are very excited and relieved to say that Grace is doing amazing. Although she is still resting in the hospital, she has nothing short of astounded doctors and nurses with her fight and now her recovery. In one, long week, Grace received a total of 4 brain surgeries to correct a condition called AVM, which is a collection of aneurisms in the brain. The doctors were able to get all of the AVM out and Grace should be able to go on as if they were never there. She is still recovering and will need more prayers and positive energy as she is doing everything she can to get stronger.
Here is yet, another child that is my hero. I am humbled by Grace and her ability to rise to the challenge placed in front of her. We are so blessed to have true pillars of strength in our lives to give us some perspective. It makes me smile to think that my strength comes from all the little people in my life. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Hazel, Grace and all the other little fighters I am blessed to know.
