Visiting new friends...

Here are a few of the blessings we have received as a result of our daughter being in the NICU. These 3 little girls were determined to be friends and therefore brought their parents into our lives. They came into Pod C exactly one week after Hazel, and brought with them their lovely parents. Without Hazel, and without the NICU stay, we would not have been able to meet our new friends. We look forward to watching our kids grow up together.

It's amazing how the most rewarding opportunities come out of such stressful, sad situations. Another important lesson Hazel has taught us moving forward. Sometimes the most cherished things come from a time when we cannot bear to lift our heads off our pillows. We are better people for having met the Bazzard family and our lives will be forever enriched. Not to mention Little Brandon, Hannah and their parents too. We are glad to have met all of you at such an important time in our lives. Your support and understanding made a really traumatic time in our lives manageable. You made us smile when a smile seemed a million miles away. Everything is easier to handle when you don't have to face it alone.
