Visit from the Peterborough Folks
/We were so excited to have Zia Heidi, Cooper and Sawyer here for a whole week. Hazel had a blast with them. We kept ourselves busy each day hanging out in our backyard, blogging, eating, playing in the sprinkler and colouring. It was a great way to start to wrap up the summer. My only regret is that they left at all...we wish they were here longer!!! Hazel and Zia Heidi did some serious bonding, as you can see. Hazel was telling her tales of how it is here with her parents and Zia was quick to offer her a warm smile and a proposal to go live with them in Peterborough. This particular story was pretty intense in the beginning...
...oh good it had a happy ending...thank goodness
So, I'm pretty sure Hazel is in love...
...maybe Zia too!!!
Hazel wanted to play with the boys too!!! They were cool with it as long as she didn't try and touch their transformers...
Sawyer trying to take focus off his transformers by offering her a far more interesting toy that sings and lights up...he is no fool!!!
Elephant and Giraffe maintain a friendly co-existence...Elephant is still the preferred friend but Giraffe is not going down easy...peeking his head around so that Hazel knows he's there and ready for a good time.
Zia Angela got some serious stares for a bit...
Oh...ok now Hazel loves her...just give her food!
Never too early for your first social media lesson...how many electronic devises can you see?
Love these shots...the kids had so much fun. So simple, no bells or whistles, just a garden hose and a back yard. Love how they are so low maintenance. They figured out all on their own how to get the hose to spray so they could run through the water. Loved watching them!!! I mean, who doesn't remember doing this as a kid and having the best time ever.

Pip's convertible is the only one that Hazel is EVER allowed to go in...and these are the only two boys she is allowed to be in it with...any questions???
Colouring can be stressful when you are trying to fit as many transformers onto one page as you can. There was no white left to this page when he was done.
I am pretty sure Sawyer thinks Hazel's food is gross, but he did a great job feeding her anyway.
Love the open mouth on both boys...it's so hard not to do it when you are feeding a baby!!! Hazel watching them intently trying to decide if she is going to open up or not...
Here is another distraction technique the boys tried...they wanted to wrestle as well as make sure that Hazel would be entertained. They gave her all her toys again to ensure they would be left in peace to do as they pleased...

I guess you are never to young or old to sit in the same position...

Hazel spent most of her time curled up on Baby Archer. She is going to miss her Zia and her cousins. We can't wait to meet Archer and get to spend time together again soon!!!
